Vancouver Wedding Photographer // Yvonne + Dan Gastown Engagement Session

It's been a while since I last blogged as wedding season is now in full swing!  I shot Yvonne and Dan's Gastown engagement session a few months ago and I thought it turned out beautifully so I have been waiting for an opportunity to share it.  The session may have started off with some awkward jokes but these two quickly became comfortable and settled into just being in love. They picked Gastown at the setting for their pictures because their wedding was to be at Nita Lake and we thought it would be a very different-vibe than the more natural surroundings of their lake wedding.  Luckily it was a gorgeous Vancouver evening and I got to use a newly scouted parkade (yes, I'm obsessed with parkades) downtown to do some golden hour shots of the pair. It was a total coincidence that Yvonne's jacket matched the background so perfectly and we ended up with some gorgeous minimalist shots that I adore!  Click on the image below to enjoy!
