Pitt Lake Motorcycle Engagement Session // Brynne + Matt

When Brynne and Matt told me about their idea to incorporate Matt's motorcycle into their engagement session, I was all over it!  I knew Pitt Lake would be the perfect spot for the photos because of the long stretches of road, tones, and gorgeous views of the mountains in the background.  Brynne and I had talked before the shoot about having an editorial feel.  I totally think we were able to incorporate her vision into the session and I'm so happy with the final result!  These two are naturals in front of the camera and have a great chemistry that is so apparent in photos.  

It was a moody overcast day at the lake and we got some of those beautiful PNW tones that I love so much.  The colours of the mountains against the lush greens and water reflections were the perfect backdrop.  We were lucky enough to get a few minutes of golden light just as the sun dipped below the horizon.  We were also fortunate to have the lake all to ourselves so that we could get some great shots of Brynne and Matt riding their bike. One of my favourite images is the one with the mountains and the long stretch of road behind them.

If you’re looking for outfit inspiration for your own engagement session I would definitely look at these two for some style tips!  I loved Brynne’s romantic, floral-print dress and bare foot look for something slightly boho.  Matt paired perfectly with his motorcycle in his relaxed denim and well worn boots.  Can we also take a minute to admire Brynne’s sparkly, red, moto helmet?! 

I can't wait to photograph Brynne and Matt's wedding at Cecil Green next month and see what they have planned.  I’m sure it’s going to be wonderfully stylish and fun just like them!
